Privacy Notice

Information we collect

We collect account and contact details; private DGSA profile information such as qualification status, modes, classes, location, coverage, availability, preferences and experience; organisation and Request information; and proportionate service, consent, response, delivery and audit records.

Where we manually make a prospective DGSA aware of the pilot, we may record limited contact information, the source, contact date, response or objection. We do not bulk-import, scrape, republish or automatically contact a regulator list.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, profiles and Requests; manually consider active opted-in DGSA profiles for selected Requests; make introductions; send requested operational messages; maintain security and proportionate audit records; and respond to support, privacy, correction, withdrawal and deletion requests.

DGSA profiles are private. Organisations cannot browse or search them through DGSA Jobs. We do not use automated or AI matching to make decisions about people.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential browser storage to remember your privacy choice. We only load Google Analytics after you choose to accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can reject analytics cookies and change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings control.

Direct outreach

If we contact a DGSA directly before they register, we will identify DGSA Jobs, explain that registering is optional, link to this Notice and provide a simple way to object or opt out. We maintain a proportionate do-not-contact record for objections.

Our working basis for using information

Depending on the activity, we use information to provide the service or take steps requested by a user; because a DGSA has given recorded Request-contact permission; to meet legal obligations; or for our legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable and accountable pilot, balanced against individual rights. We will document the final basis for any outreach before starting it.

Service providers

We use Manus for the website, application and managed infrastructure; SMTP2GO for transactional-email delivery; 365i for the DGSA Jobs email mailboxes; and, where visitors choose to accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics for visitor measurement. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where this applies, we will use appropriate safeguards.

Retention, withdrawal and deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed for the pilot, legal obligations, security and proportionate audit records. You may update, pause or withdraw a DGSA profile and Request-contact permission through your profile. A deletion request withdraws the profile and stops Request contact immediately while we assess and complete the request, subject to information we need to retain lawfully.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable. You may object to direct marketing at any time and, where we rely on legitimate interests, object to that use. Contact privacy@dgsajobs.co.uk. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice as the pilot develops. If we plan a material new use of personal information, we will update this Notice before starting that use and notify active users where appropriate.
